Victoria (BC) British Columbia Canada is located on Vancouver Island just a short Ferry ride from Vancouver BC on the mainland. The Ferry ride is 1 hour and 40 minutes. Victoria BC is a city of approximately 350,000 people in a relatively small geographic region called Southern Vancouver Island.

Greater Victoria consists of 13 municipalities, 4 of which constitute the city core. These are Victoria, Oak Bay, Esquimalt and Saanich. The other municipalities are: View Royal, Highlands, North Sannich, Central Saanich, and the West Shore including Colwood, Langford, Metchosin and the Highlands. When you travel throughout greater Victoria you will have little knowledge that you are not in one city.
