VOLUNTEERS

There are many exciting projects and activities that can be delegated to the willing and able volunteer. We would love for you to be involved. Our volunteers are special and we value the time that they donate to the Arts Council. This is your Council too, so please give us your input to make it enjoyable for everyone.  We want you to feel at home.

If you would like to join us, fill out the form and send it back to the West Shore Arts Council. If there is a current position listed below which interests you, please so indicate on the form.

Current Volunteer Needs:

There are times when we have specific needs for volunteer help. Listed below are the current opportunities. If you think one of them would suit your experience and you are just joining, mention it on your membership application form. If you are already a member and would like to volunteer for one of these jobs, please fill out the volunteer form and we will contact you.

Administrative - We are always seeking volunteers to help with a number of tasks within the office, be it helping to organize an event, update membership lists, or disseminate information via the web, emails or printed brochures. Our administrative services are the hub around which the Council operates.

Our Coordinator for the Art in the Library Program often needs assistance. If you would like to help, please email the volunteer form and indicate your interest in this job on the form.

Art Show Helpers - The Arts Council both sponsors shows and helps other groups put on shows during the year. We can always use the help of individuals who like to be involved in the varied tasks that it takes to run a successful show, from making phone calls to moving equipment or hanging pieces of art.
